This beautiful 1934 Ford Rumble Seat Deluxe Roadster Hot-Rod is a great example of the styling of the 1930's being seamlessly melded with more modern technology and performance. Painted in eye-catching red with a beige top and tan interior, this '34 roadster is a fantastic build, with an emphasis placed on performance, and reliability. The eye-catching finish is accented with beautifully finished bright-work, red steel wheel and wide white combination, and the comfortable interior is made more so with Vintage Air A/C. A recent two-year build finished in 2011 looks as fresh now as the day it was completed.
The 1934 Ford DeLuxe Roadster was welcomed with much publicity and fanfare in the midst of the Depression. For 1934, Ford added a touch of Lincoln-style class with a beautifully cast radiator cap in the image of a sprinting greyhound. And for the first time, body-color fenders were offered at no extra charge. Sales of the dandy 1934s began to take off. Among the new model's earliest champions were police officials who used its explosive speed to chase crooks -- and crooks who stole new Fords to outrun the law. Infamous bank robber Clyde Barrow was one unabashed admirer who took time from his criminal pursuits to praise the car's virtues in a letter sent to a surprised Henry Ford.
This fabulous Ford features dual horns, cowl lights, tail lamps, rear mounted spare, rumble seat, glove box, fuel gauge, windshield wiper, painted steel wheels with Ford hubcaps and wide whites, and the famous Greyhound hood ornament. This car that needs absolutely nothing, but a new driver.
