Lincoln Lido Information:

The Lido was a specially trimmed Club Coupe that was fitted with either a canvas or vinyl top and custom interior. It was offered for just two years (1950-51) and was built to compete with GM's flashy new hardtop designs.
Just 4,482 of these standard club coupe body styles were built in 1951, and an unknown fraction of these were built as Lidos.
- Estimates range from 500 to perhaps 1500 built each of the two years

Restoration Information:

Thoroughly restored in the early 2000s
- with the majority of the work performed by D&L Restoration Inc. in Everett, WA.
- Receipt folder from 2000-present show well over $120k spent on labor and materials
- primarily at D&L Restoration
Full engine and transmission rebuilds by other vendors as well as other work are also documented.
Photos show discovery, complete disassembly, and subsequent rebuilding of the car
Refinished paint, trim, and upholstery
All of the soft rubber trim, hard and soft lines, as well as suspension links and bushings have all been replaced
Everything appearing operational and maintained during the restoration process
Reproduction US Royal tires show minimal wear and no age checking or notable discoloration of the sidewalls
The paint, chrome trim, and interior finishes are all very nice and show well
The doors open and shut easily, as do the roll down windows
