Emory Motorsports originally built this awesome 356 as a Vintage-Class Race Car and then recrafted it into this fantastic Outlaw/Street 356 in 2012. The engine work was done by ACE 356 and master technician Art Conner and boasts 10.5:1 Compression and an Elgin Performance Camshaft, (Dyno tested at 115hp to the wheels). The 4-Speed Manual Gearbox is tight and true, with gearshifts being smooth and precise. A Limited-Slip Differential increases traction at all speeds.
Emory Motorsports was started by Rod Emory alongside his dad's business of Porsche Parts Obsolete. In 1998 the first 'Emory Special' was created out of a 1964 356 Cabriolet. With upgraded components throughout, the car was a hit and significantly raised the bar for 356 performance. Building track cars was a niche that Rod Emory was able to dive into and he's very highly regarded within that circle. When the vintage racing scene started to slow down in the USA, he chose to focus his attention solely on building these Porsches. Emory Motorsports has now produced hundreds of their sought-after 356 Outlaws.
