This factory Super Sport Impala Convertible is the recipient of a professionally finished, no-expense-spared custom Pro Touring restoration with over $120,000 spent on the build alone. The laser straight body is finished in Jet Black with matching custom made black Hartz Cloth top and all new or rechromed trim. Under the hood is a professionally rebuilt 409 with Edelbrock 500cfm dual quads and aluminum manifold, plus custom Hedman headers, billet pulleys, Griffin four row radiator and electric fan, 3-inch Flowmaster exhaust system, and more. The monster motor drives a custom built TH350 transmission and Currie 9" rear end, while the suspension is upgraded to a fully adjustable Air Ride system with 13" front/12" rear disc brakes with 6 and 4 piston calipers respectively. The interior is fully custom finished in leather with bespoke leather door and kick panels, power operated bucket seats, a one-off center-console, mahogany wood trim, a hand-fabricated rear seat, all new trim, touch-screen audio system with hidden amplifiers, custom matched leather trunk walls with hidden storage, and other touches like a tilt column, Dakota gauges, etc. This over-the-top Impala is a multiple award winner including 2nd in Class at the Portland Roadster Show and several best interior prizes.
