- Originally Built in the San Jose, California Ford Plant
- Stored and Maintained in Climate Control Garage
- Completed nut & bolt Restoration in early 2000's
- Prior to restoration the vehicle was found rust free
- Extensively Mechanically Modified but the body and interior remain stock
Engine
- all mechanical parts were new at time of rebuild early 2000
- Fully balanced 302 Block
- 289 Heads w/ stainless valves, extensively ported, polished
- 9.8:1 forged TRW Pistons
- Edelbrock cams dual profile hydraulic with full roller valve train - built to run 15 inches of vacuum on street gas
- Torker (ported) with Edelbrock 625 AFB Intake
- Mark Weiss hand-built tri-y headers with ceramic coating, quiet 3 chamber Flowmasters Exhaust
- conservatively estimated at 350hp
Transmission
- Tremec T-5 5speed
- Centerforce 2 clutch, balanced as a unit
- Custom drive shaft with heavy duty joints
Body and Interior
- Stripped, prepped and painted with catalyzed DuPont Imron - color code Y (silver blue metallic)
- Sun-X glass, windshield should be renewed
- All chrome, aluminum and stainless trim replated or polished
- All new weather-stripping
- All new window controls, regulators, door locks, hinges and latches. All new cables, heater controls, etc.
- Restored under dash, factory air conditioning (A/C), A/C pump is currently off as modern pulley system has been considered, AM/FM/Cassette and Rally Pac gauges, New seats (bolsters, springs and black standard upholstery)
- New headliner and carpet with soundproofing (top, bottom, sides and doors)
Rear End
- Custom built by Currie Bros. (Southern CA)
- 3.50:1 ratio; new traction-loc unit (full limited slip)
- new clutches and gears (rear end from 1975 Lincoln Versailles)
Wheels / Brakes
- American Torq Thrust D aluminum wheels
- 4-wheel disks
- Fronts are stock with new rotors, bearings, calipers, pad & seals
- Rears new rotors, bearings, calipers, pads & seals
- Lines are all braided stainless steel with adjustable proportioning valve
Suspension
- Global West - blueprinted manual steering box; 500lb springs, full tubular a-arms, repositioned; delrin and aluminum bushings, sub frame connectors; Global West rear springs with delrin and aluminum bushings; tower braces and massive sway bar w/ heim joints, Koni shock absorbers
- Plainly put the car is track ready but was never used that way.
