Documented 2-owner, numbers matching Z/28 Camaro. Fully restored and two owners from new, this is a highly desirable Z/28 and superbly restored first-gen Camaro. This Z/28 left the Norwood, Ohio plant in May 1968, headed for New England before coming west and ultimately ending up here in Washington in 1980. The car was purchased by the current owner in 2005, who then had the car restored in the late 2000s

This Z/28 is finished in its factory-correct Ash Gold and is powered by the original, numbers-matching 302ci V8. It was professionally repainted in the early nineties with correct black Z/28 stripes. The numbers-matching 302ci V8 is backed by a Muncie 4-speed manual transmission driving a 4.56 Positraction rear end (since changed out to 3.85 gears for better real world usability, but the original gears are included with the car). Factory-correct power steering keeps this ZZ/28 in line and correct power disc brakes provide ample stopping power behind rally wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich radials. The interior has likewise been fully restore with correct black vinyl and equipped with correct bucket seats, center console, 4-pack gauges and Hurst shifter.

The original window sticker and car invoice, purchase order and ownership documentation is on file in an organized binder along with restoration and maintenance receipts, Z/28 information and restoration photos. Service and wiring manual also included. This Z/28 is a superb driver that shows in remarkable condition and presented in one of the most attractive color combinations.
