1968 Pontiac Firebird finished in Maui Blue with a Black interior. Powered by a 400c.i. V8 (bored .030 over) and backed by a TKO 500 5-speed manual transmission (built by Silver Sports Transmission). The Firedbird appeared in mid-1967 as a competitor to the Chevrolet Camaro and Ford Mustang at the time. It featured many different engine options to cover every aspect of the market it could. The 1968 model featured a few changes like deleted vent windows, added side marker lamps, wraparound front turn-signals, and an updated suspension. This example is a beautiful bare metal restoration that sports many upgrades.
