Frame-off restored 1971 Chevrolet Custom K/10 pickup. This K/10 underwent a complete, frame-off restoration that was completed in 2011 with superb results -- excellent fit and gaps, virtually flawless finish and a mechanically sound pickup that rides and drives superbly. This K/10 was delivered new in Colorado sporting desirable equipment including front disc brakes, power steering, push-button radio and full instrumentation.

During the restoration, the body was striped and professionally finished in a Red/White color combination. All of the brightwork has been refinished, replated or replaced, and the body boasts excellent panel fit and finish. The interior was likewise redone in red with the original bench seat being reupholstered in black vinyl to match the interior trim. The undercarriage also got the restoration treatment and is fully finished, and the engine was rebuilt with a few choice upgrades. An Edelbrock Performer aluminum intake was added to compliment the QuadraJet carburetor, and 487X heads were installed along with Z28 valve springs, flat-top pistons, double roller chain and a Comp Cams 268 camshaft. The engine is backed by a smooth automatic transmission and selectable 4WD.

Properly restored classic Pickups are always a crowd pleaser and this example is one of the finest we've seen. The high quality of work that was put into this K/10 is instantly apparent in person and finding another of this caliber will be hard to come by.
