Park Place LTD is pleased to present this fantastic homage to Porsche Racing's early 1970s, spec-built ST road rally 911s. The 911ST, of which only 2 to 3 dozen are said to have been made, was powered by either a 2.3L or 2.5L H6, boasted custom flares to accept wider wheel fitment, and were the last road rally 911s to be produced without spoilers. The tribute on offer is a stunner, shown in wild-looking Royal Purple, sporting beautifully hand-crafted flares, fully restored 15x8 / 15x9 Fuchs wheels, and contrasted with a Black interior that features vintage, period-correct Recaro race seats, a half cage, and Autoflug German harnesses (often seen the 911 RS). Power comes courtesy of a fully pro-built 3.2L "short stroke" flat-6 (which started out life as a 3.0L from a 911SC), assembled by the experts at European Autowerke in Fall City, WA. Fuel is delivered via PMO carburation, and all internals were either machined or replaced. 250hp is transmitted via a limited-slip 915 transaxle, with engine music emanating from a sports exhaust.
Additional noteworthy equipment includes SSI heat exchangers, specially imported (and "sticky") Michelin TB15 tires, 911S brakes with correct aluminum calipers, 911S struts with adjustable spindles, uprated torsion and sway bars, hood-mounted Cibie Pallas rally lamps (sourced in France -- not re-pops!), custom period-correct-looking full instrumentation, a 3-spoke Prototipo steering wheel, and felt carpeting.
This extraordinary example was built to be a usable street car that's easy to drive, sounds incredible, looks sensational and purpose-built, while feeling right at home on the track, too. If a unique and one of a kind 911 is what you're looking for, then this "ST", boasting expert finish work, craftsmanship and attention to detail is for you.

The 911 ST is more on the purist side: you need to be a serious Porsche geek to even be aware of the existence of this version of the classic 911, and this particular car, #9111121160, is an awesome tribute to the original.
It's debatable how many ST's were originally made (some say 23, some say 24), but the 911 ST "production run" only lasted for about one year between 1970 and 1971, with Porsche saying that 24 cars were built for racing in places such as Daytona, in the Targa Florio, or the 1000km of the Nürburgring: the car also won the GT class at Le Mans, and famously beat the much faster prototypes in the Tour de France Auto.
