1972 Chevrolet K5 Blazer in Metallic Green over a like-new Tan interior. Very low miles on a complete, rotisserie restoration to original condition. The original SPID label shows a highly optioned Blazer. Every piece of metal, plastic, rubber, wiring, all components of the drive train, every nut, bolt and screw either replaced or refurbished. The starting point was original sheet metal, original drive train and original interior. Original drive train completely rebuilt, from the u-joints on up, to factory specs.

Original 350 cid engine with four bolt mains and turbo 350 transmission and NP205 transfer case. The rebuilt Rochester Quadrajet is original to this motor and is properly setup. Original GM 12 bolt rear end with positraction and Dana 44 front end with locking hubs. Power steering with power brakes and front discs with six bolt hubs and original (but later model) GM Rally Sport 15" wheels. The front and rear suspensions are completely rebuilt using new tie rod ends, springs, shocks, bushings, shackles, ball joints, etc. plus a remanufactured steering gear and power steering pump plus a new tilt steering column. AC system completely functional with R134, new compressor and condenser and blows cold.

All original sheet metal was media or sandblasted to bare, rust free metal. Original doors, fenders, hood, cowl vent panel, quarters, floor pans and windshield frame utilized. Replaced both rocker boxes and both inner and outer rocker panels along with some small pieces spliced in at the front lower of both quarters and a small area of the rear floor in front of the tailgate. The tailgate is the only new piece of exterior sheet metal used. PPG acid etching primer utilized on all bare metal followed by a high build primer-surfacer on exterior panels and PPG base coat/clear coat two part urethane top coat refinish. The complete underbody is shot in tinted bedliner material, over acid etching primer, to match the exterior color. The fiberglass top is sanded completely smooth and painted on the inside to match the tan interior and painted white on the outside.

The front buckets and rear bench seats are original to this Blazer and have been rebuilt and reupholstered. Seat belts are new, replacement units. The roll bar is the originally installed Hickey unit. A Retrosound, OEM look alike, AM/FM radio has UBS and Bluetooth® capabilities. The entire interior was covered with Dynamat for sound deadener and insulation underneath a new carpet set. The original front, center console is refurbished. The dash cluster is a replacement unit. All new seals, weatherstripping, door internals, door glass and windshield were installed. The fiberglass top seals are all new pieces. The fiberglass top glass, including the hatch glass, are original parts.

Exterior trim including bumpers, side moldings, logos, grill, headlamp trim plus door handles and locks, windshield trim, etc. are largely new, aftermarket pieces with some NOS and original parts utilized where available and of appropriate quality. This is the nicest K5 Blazer that we've ever seen.
