1976 was famously touted as the final year of Cadillac Convertible production, and General Motors heavily promoted the car as "The Last American Convertible". With only 28,000 Original Miles, This example was delivered new in Sable Black with a red pin-stripe down the side. The deep hue contrasts with the chrome bumpers, body trim, color-matched hubcaps, and wide white-wall Radial tires. The Lipstick Red leather interior and black powered soft top both remain original and in like-new condition.

This Eldorado is equipped with a long list of additional factory optional equipment, including Comfort 50/50 split front seats, driver and passenger 6-way electric seat controls, tilt/telescopic steering column, cruise control, AM/FM stereo with 8-track cassette player, Controlled Cycle intermittent wipers, Twilight Sentinel, carpeted full-width floor mat, illuminated vanity mirror, outside thermometer, door edge guards, and the original hard shell "Parade" top boot. Notable standard Eldorado features for 1976 included automatic climate control, power disc brakes, power-operated soft top with glass backlight, power antenna, Soft Ray tinted glass, and a 500ci V-8 backed by a three-speed Hydra-Matic transmission.

Prior to its current ownership, the car was owned by noted collector John Staluppi who put it on display at his Cars of Dreams Museum in Palm Beach, FL. Included with the purchase of this car are the owner's manual, the 1976 Cadillac/GM brochure, the shop manual, and two sets of keys.
