Low-mileage 1993 Lotus Esprit SE. This Lotus Esprit is an attractive Black over Tan SE that has had just 4 owners since new. It has been a local Seattle area car for nearly 15 years and shows in superb condition throughout. Lotus only imported 62 North American models for the 1993 model year, making these turbocharged SE Esprits extremely rare and highly desirable.

This example is finished in sleek black over a tan interior, with upgraded 17" OZ Racing wheels. The 1993 SE received factory refinements over the previous model, and was considered to be the most luxurious Lotus ever. The interior was enlarged to allow for a more comfortable cockpit with sport seats, power windows and locks, glass roof, air conditioning and leather upholstery throughout. This particular SE has also been upgraded with a modernized sound system with Alpine AM/FM/CD player and a Kicker subwoofer.

In addition to its high luxury, this Esprit is a true performer with a turbocharged 2.2L I4 behind the seats developing a factory-rated 264hp/261lb-ft. For 1993, the SE was also upgraded with an improved suspension, stainless steel exhaust, power steering was added, and strengthened internals for the transmission and engine were utilized.

This SE is fully sorted and serviced, having been outfitted with a new stainless exhaust system, clutch cable, fuel lines and brake booster in 2009. It has also completed an extensive pre-sale inspection at the Lotus of Bellevue factory authorized Service Center.

These SE Esprits are highly desirable and tend to be very hard to come by, and it would follow that this example will not be on our showroom floor for long.
