This 2000 Chevrolet Corvette is a very attractive high-performance C5 that is presented in brilliant Navy Blue Metallic over Black and features an extensive list of performance modifications. This Corvette was upgraded with one thing in mind -- speed. It is said to have been previously owned by NHRA Funny Car driver Jim Epler, who was the first driver to break the 300mph barrier in a Funny Car.
This Corvette has been taken to 11 with a large number of high-performance upgrades. The 5.7L LS1 V8 engine has been upgraded with a Magnuson hybrid roots-style supercharger, liquid-to-air intercooler, high-flow fuel injectors and a Nitrous Express Stage I nitrous oxide system. Further performance upgrades to the LS1 V8 include a polished twin cold air intake, JBA performance headers and a ground-pounding BB performance exhaust. To handle the extra performance, this Corvette features a limited slip differential, upgraded Hotchkis rear sway bar and super-sticky Nitto NT550R competition drag radial tires.
Even with all these performance features, creature comfort was not forgotten. The cockpit features power-adjustable leather sport seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, two-position driver memory settings and a factory 12-disc CD changer. Additionally, the factory audio system with Bose speakers has been upgraded with a satellite & HD radio ready Pioneer audio receiver, two Memphis Audio subwoofers in the trunk and a Memphis Audio amplifier. An Autometer nitrous gauge and chrome roll hoops have also been added.
