Rare Inca Gold 2002 Chrysler Prowler. Finished in hard-to-find Inca Gold, this 2002 Chrysler Prowler is a fantastic example of the final year for Prowler production. The head-turning metallic paint was the only available option for Prowlers in 2002, with this example retailing for $45,850. It has known limited ownership since new and been extremely well cared for with just over 12,000 miles on the clock.
Styled after the highly popular "Hi-Boy" style hot rods, the Prowler was an instant hit with enthusiasts when it went into production in the late 90's. Showcasing many unique highlights like an exposed dual wishbone front suspension, the Prowler came equipped with desirable features including leather upholstery, a 6-disc CD changer, auto-dimming mirrors and a black soft top with glass rear window. A stout 253hp/255lb-ft rated 3.5L V6 powers the Prowler, turning the rear wheels through a 5-speed "AutoStick" transmission. Thanks to a low 2,800lb curb weight and a rear-mounted transmission, the Prowler is surprisingly quick with fantastic handling thanks to a near perfect front/rear weight distribution.
This particular example also features a number of aftermarket upgrades and custom touches. The front bumpers have been removed and replaced integrated marker lenses. Hidden amber driving lamps have been installed behind the front grille, and a custom rear bumper was installed with integrated reversing lamps. Inside the cabin, this Prowler also features an upgraded audio system with an Alpine auto receiver and a JL Audio subwoofer. The factory 5-spoke wheels have been replaced with chrome 18" Front / 20" Rear Foose Wheels, and an upgraded Magnaflow exhaust adds a killer soundtrack.
This Prowler just underwent an oil service and brake flush, and has undergone a rigorous pre-sale inspection here at the Park Place LTD Service Center. The original chrome factory wheels, owner's manual, key with remote keyfob and a CarFax history report are included with the car.
