When the Porsche 996 Turbo debuted in 2001, it was the first 911 Turbo of the watercooled generation and also took up the mantle as the fastest and most capable 911 Turbo produced to date. This 2004 convertible is finished in black, fitted with the desirable 6-speed manual gearbox, and rides on a set of multi-piece 19" BBS mesh wheels. Showing 49,054 miles, this car has been well-kept and remains in excellent overall condition, given it is 20 years old.
The interior is fitted with optional "Supple" black leather upholstery on the front and rear seats, and the steering wheel, shifter, dashboard, and handbrake are all leather-wrapped as well. In the center console, a PCM system with navigation was optioned, and below it, a CD holder and controls for the two-zone climate control.
Powering this 911 Turbo is a variant of Porsche's famed Mezger Flat-6, which has its roots based in endurance racing. Rated at 415 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque, the 996 Turbo can run from 0-60 mph in 4.2 seconds and has a top speed of more than 190 MPH. The 6-speed manual transmission sends power to all 4 wheels through a state-of-the-art, sport-tuned all-wheel drive system with a bias towards the rear wheels.
Additional Features include 4-Wheel Disc Anti-Lock Brakes, Porsche Stability Management, Leather Wrapped 3-Spoke Steering Wheel, Heated Power-Adjust Mirrors and Bose High End Surround Sound with 12 speakers.
