2006 Chevrolet Corvette that's finished in Machine Silver Metallic over an Ebony Leather Interior. 505hp/470lb-ft 7.0L LS7 Engine with a proper 6-Speed Manual Transmission. Only 23,981 miles from new. Finished in sleek Machine Silver Metallic over an impeccable black leather interior and nearly devoid of extraneous trim, the low, smooth-bodied 2006 Corvette looks the part of a serious performance machine. This Corvette is an attractive and well-equipped example that has been well cared for, showing in superb condition throughout. A center hood bulge radiates out toward the front fenders. Composite body panels sit atop a hydroformed steel frame with aluminum and magnesium structural and chassis components. Round taillights and integrated exhaust tips appear at the rear.
As the flagship performance Corvette in 2006, the Z06 features a large number of standard performance features. The car is powered by a 7.0L V8 engine under the hood that develops 505hp and 470lb-ft of torque. The engine is backed by a 6-speed manual transmission and limited slip rear end. Further performance features include the Z06 Performance Package that adds upgraded brakes, engine, power steering and transmission coolers, performance springs and larger sway bars.
This Corvette's interior welcomes both driver and passenger with remarkable craftsmanship and attention to detail throughout. The leather-swathed, deeply contoured, and firmly bolstered front seats are in fantastic condition. The dashboard carries on the Corvette's dual-cockpit theme with its two-tone split between the upper and lower instrument panels. Both the speedometer and tachometer are slightly larger than before and feature satin-finished aluminum bezels. Front sport bucket seats are wrapped in leather. The driver information center is easy to read and the optional Bose Premium Audio System enhances the driving experience.
The 7.0-liter LS7 V-8 engine was rated at a stout 505 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. It was, at the time, the most powerful standard engine ever installed in a Corvette. The Corvette comes in with cutting-edge performance technology. Chevrolet fitted them with dynamic suspension technology capable of handling high-speed cornering.
