Finished in optional Platinum Silver Metallic over black, this 2012 Porsche Cayman R is the serious, hard edged high-performance variant of the popular Cayman. This is a one-owner car that was sold new here in the Seattle area, and it has been driven less than 20,000 miles since. Original MSRP was $78,845 and it was ordered with over $11,000 in options. The Park Place LTD Service Center has performed a thorough 71-point inspection on this Cayman R.
Built exclusively for the 2012 model year, the Cayman R is a hardened, performance-oriented version of the already high-performance Cayman S. It features a number of weight reducing, aerodynamic and power improvements over a Cayman S including a more powerful 330hp 3.4L H6 engine, factory aerokit with fixed rear spoiler, GT2-style lightweight carbon fiber seats, lightweight aluminum doors, door pull delete and lightweight 19" wheels borrowed from the Boxster Spyder -- painted black on this example. Further performance features include the optional 7-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) dual-clutch transmission and Sport Chrono package, enabling this Cayman R to hit 60 mph in just 4.4 seconds and touch a top speed of 174 mph.
On the luxury side of things, this Cayman features the optional Sound Package Plus, Bluetooth® telephone connectivity, an Alcantara Sport Design steering wheel, an Alcantara headliner, auto climate control and universal audio interface with iPod integration. Additionally, a premium Kenwood touchscreen audio receiver has supplanted the OEM unit, and it features GPS navigation, HD radio and satellite radio.
Included with this Cayman is the original window sticker, owner's books, one remote key, the original OEM AM/FM radio, record of the Park Place LTD Service Center inspection and a CarFax history report.
