Evergreen Lotus Car Club

The Evergreen Lotus Car Club was started in 1984 to serve the Lotus car enthusiasts of the Puget Sound Region of Washington State, in the United States. Lotus ownership is not required for membership, nor are those who own a Lotus required to have the car fully assembled. If you are considering buying a Lotus, or are working on a project, club members can be helpful in your search for a car, parts, technical knowledge, or other Lotus resources, as callout callout-sm as encouragement, inspiration, and camaraderie. Annual Dues are $20US. We encourage member participation by holding monthly gatherings balancing driving, social, and technical events. Events include; club drives, tech sessions, visits to local vendors and shops who serve British car enthusiasts with products and services, private car collection tours, and trying to create opportunities for on-track driver training and practice. We sponsor a Lotus Car Corral at the SOVREN Vintage races at Pacific Raceways in Kent, Washington, at the beginning of July each year. At the end of July in Bellevue, Washington, members bring their cars to the All British Field Meet, for popular choice (vote of entrants) judging. In December, we hold a member Holiday Party with gift exchange.

Lotus Owner's Club

What was to become our present North American international club began as a simple get-together between two Europa owners in January 1973. Early members would meet to share their enthusiasm and swap stories of their ownership adventures – and to wonder if there were others out there who might enjoy some of the same camaraderie.

The Mercedes-Benz Club of America has grown rapidly since 1956 and currently has over 20,000 members in 80+ local sections across the United States, Canada, and many foreign outposts. Each section conducts its own activities, publishes a newsletter of information and events, and has its own officers and by-laws. Sections frequently organize joint activites with neighboring sections. Although the Mercedes-Benz Club of America is not an affiliate of Mercedes-Benz USA or Daimler-Benz AG, the Club does enjoy the unique position of being sanctioned by MBUSA (formerly Mercedes-Benz of North America). Since MBCA's inception in 1956, a Mercedes-Benz representative has provided liason in support of the club's functions, activities, and business affairs. In addition, Mercedes-Benz and Daimler-Benz have supplied generous quantities of historical and technical information and assistance. The club is very proud of this relationship and its permission to use the name and trademark of Mercedes-Benz.

Even with this busy schedule we have time to organize two premier car shows, one in Snoqualmie, and one in downtown Kirkland. All profits are donated to local charities. Sponsor names are engraved on trophies and they are announced to the 10,000 plus visitors during each show.
